Join your colleagues at a CME dinner symposium to discuss the evidence for the efficacy and bioavailability of generic ophthalmics, the ophthalmic and systemic effects of medications, economic issues, comfort and safety of available therapies, and issues of patient adherence.


Learning Objectives
Upon the completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Understand the pros and cons of generic medications versus brand-name formulations

  • Recognize the importance of patients' adherence to prescribed glaucoma therapy in medical outcomes

  • Identify the key barriers to patients' adherence to prescribed glaucoma medical therapy

  • Employ effective strategies to ensure that patients receive the medications prescribed and facilitate their appropriate long-term use
